Before and after our Tombs and GvG runs, or whenever we don't have the eight neccessary to play, iQ likes to pass the time in the team arenas, to socialize, farm some faction, and generally smash face.

At the same time, we understand that many people here struggle to get a team that can win a couple rounds before falling back to the staging area. We haven't done a lot of community outreach since the rune traders 'nerfed' our rune giveaway days, so it's time for a new promotion.

So here's the deal. In the future, we'd like to run arena teams with three of our guild members, and a member of the community here. You can bring whatever build you want, within reason - we'll do a quick build critique before going in. Most teams will run during the late afternoon Pacific and at the end of the evening Eastern - basically the fringes of American prime time. Our guild is entirely on the American server so you have to be too, sorry.

This is a social event, so voicechat is a must. You'll need the latest Ventrilo client to use our server, which you can pick up HERE. Make sure your mic is turned on and working, since half the fun of this game is cracking jokes and talking shit - especially in arena where we're not being serious anyway.

If you're interested, just reply here with your in game name and which times you're likely to be around, if any. Or just bug me in game if you're around and want to do some arena - I don't bite. Too much.

I'd be happy to tag along. Tonight (Thursdays) and Mondays are Guild Battle nights so I can't do it then, but any other time I'd love to give it a shot.

Ill do it. Anyime 7-11 pm EST besides sundays (reserved for guild) I could be on. I usually monk for my guild but I dont know if thats what you had in mind... you might not trust such a role to the new guy lol.

I wouldn't be opposed towards playing with you guys sometimes, although in Arena I'm usually pretty bored and therefore run some rather exotic and crazy builds.

Also my mic is fine but I can't speak at about 10:00 CST since my folks go to sleep then and they are very, very, light sleepers.

We had a blast last night (August 11) playing with some of the people here. The best part was when we had 2 iQ teams (both with a guru person) in the team arena at the same time and we fought each other. Unfortunately, my team lost =/ I blame eonwe and his 4 pip mending.

my arena build is usually 2 maintained enchantment warmo or life bond monk, so uhh.... enjoy in two weeks?

I'm an officer in my guild, but its rather inactive and I don't really care much about it... so w/e

actually, i think i can get GW working on a laptop and a hotel's WiFi internet, but I won't have a mic for vent, but I have one at home... that is, if you haven't found someone to PvP with yet... I also really want your comments on my 13 tactics warmo build...

--edit-- downloading GW maps etc is a beeeeyatch, might be 20 minutes until i can get on, only 1 comp with internet, so i might have to share for a while until it finishing DLing

Sever Artery/Gash/Galrath Slash/Final Thrust/Mending(for myself obviously)/Restore Life/Sprint/Healing Hands

Think you guys can handle that uber tank on your team?

I am always up for arena and semi organized chaos is the best way to go about it. I would be keen to play with you lads. My pvp chars are usually called 'Baby Boom Boom'.
